Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program
CELPIP, Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program, is a general English language proficiency test. The CELPIP Test allows test takers to demonstrate their ability to function in English.
There are 2 types of CELPIP Test :- CELPIP (General LS) - Only available for people residing in Canada and USA. CELPIP (General) – For people residing in other parts of the world.
The CELPIP (General) test measures all English Language skills , including Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. It is fully computer delivered, providing test takers the opportunity to complete all test components in one sitting with no additional
appointments, interviews, or test sittings required.

40 overall questions out of which 2 are unscored to be answered in 47-55 minutes
Reading
38 questions to be answered in 55-60 minutes
Writing
2 tasks to be answered in 55-60 minutes
Speaking
8 tasks to be answered in 15-20 minutes
The timings shown are variable. The test will last for about 3 hours

Listening:– It has 1 unscored task and 6 scored parts (38 questions). There are 4 conversations and 2 monologues. All audios clips are played once only. All questions are multiple choices, with 4 options and 1 correct answer.
Reading:- The Reading section consists of 4 scored parts (38 questions). For each Reading part, you need to read the texts and anwer the questions. All questions are multiple choices, with 4 options and 1 correct answer.
Writing:- It comprises of 2 tasks. Task 1 presents email prompt. In Task 2, students have to respond to a survey questions.
Speaking:- The Speaking section consists of 1 unscored task and 8 scored parts. Each parts has 1 task. The tasks are based on giving advice, talking about a personal experience, describing a scene, making a prediction, comparing and persuading, dealing with a difficult situation, expressing opinion, and descrining an unusual situation.

How we train our students
We conduct a mock test on the first day of training, simulating the testing conditions, to gauge where the person stands in terms of his English abilities. The individual is given the scores after the test is over. Subsequently, we start the classroom training. Towards the end of practice session, questions are discussed with the students and answers are explained. After classroom sessions, mock-tests are conducted simulating the testing conditions and scores are given for each mock test.
