About VPC
Established in 1998, Vancouver Premier College of Hotel Management (VPC) has been dedicated to providing professional hospitality education to students from around the world.
Accreditation:
Our College is accredited by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency of British Columbia (PCTIA). Accredited institutions have to go through a rigorous evaluation process of their programs, facilities, policies and staff. Accreditation provides a quality assurance.
British Columbia EQA Designation:
VPC is a BC EQA designated institution. EQA stands for Education Quality Assurance. In Canada, BC EQA is the first and only provincial brand that is recognized worldwide as a symbol of quality education and consumer protection for post-secondary education.
The American Hotel & Lodging Association:
Many of our course texts are from the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA). This means the curriculum has been researched and designed by leading academics and industry professional. Students at VPC can earn AH&LA course certificates and AH&LA diplomas, recognized in 130 countries. Having an industry-endorsed curriculum ensures that our graduates have the proper training and knowledge to meet the needs of this dynamic industry.
Industry Advisory Board:
VPC has a Hospitality Advisory Board of industry professional who are leaders in various fields of the hospitality industry. The board meets regularly with representatives from the college to give feedback and input on our diploma and certificate curriculum. The Board members suggest projects and assignments that present real issues and concerns in the industry. Together, the Board members, VPC staff, and VPC students shape our vision.
Degree Granting Articulations:
VPC has articulation agreements with various private and public universities and colleges worldwide. By following the British Columbia Provincial Hospitality Management Diploma's core curriculum, VPC is one of a very few private colleges that are able to obtain articulations with local public universities and colleges. Students who want to pursue higher education after completing their studies at VPC can choose from various higher-level diplomas or degrees in Hospitality and/or Tourism Management.

Partnerships for Higher Education in Hospitality:
Many VPC graduates have successfully continued their education in higher-level diploma or degree programs with a business, hospitality, or tourism management focus. Transfer options to various private and public universities and colleges are possible through articulation (transfer) agreements or through the standard admissions process. VPC can contact any institution that interests you to help you in the application process and to discover opportunities for credit transfer.

Its moderate climate means you may pursue a wide range of outdoor activities throughout the year.
Tourism is a major industry in Vancouver, so there's no better place to study Hotel Management! Our students are given many opportunities to participate in Vancouver's tourism and hospitality industries.
Canada is also one of the most inexpensive countries in which to study hotel management.
Homestay Application:
- Applications must be received by Vancouver Premier College a minimum of 30 days prior to your first night.
- Unable to enter Canada due to visa difficulties: Paid homestay fee will be fully refunded.
- Canceling with more than 14 days notice prior to arrival: The College will retain 20% of the homestay fee due under the contract.
- Canceling with less than 14 days notice prior to arrival: The College will retain 50% of the homestay fee due under the contract.
