Employment Opportunities

As an international student enrolled in a tertiary program, you are permitted to work for 20 hours per week during the course and full time which is 40 hours during course breaks. The average amount you can expect to earn is between NZ$12-NZ$15.

After completion of your study in New Zealand you gain points under the Skilled Migrant Category through which you can apply for a grand job search visa.

Health Insurance

Some New Zealand universities have health plans initiated for international students in their program. However, this will only last for as long as your course lasts.
