Best ACT Coaching Center In India
The American College Testing or ACT exam is a leading college entrance exam that evaluates a student's readiness for college when they are looking to study abroad. It helps measure what you learn in high school in order to determine your academic readiness for an overseas education. The ACT test has 5 components namely, English, Mathematics, Reading, Science, and an optional Writing Test. A paper-based test, it tests the student's academic abilities which come in handy during college. The test consists of 215 multiple choice questions, plus the 1 optional writing prompt. As overseas education consultants, we inform our students that the ACT registration occurs online.
Segmented into 4 sections, the duration of the exam is 3 hours and 35 minutes. The ACT exam offers students an "interest inventory" feature. This feature compares a candidate's final test scores against the accepted national averages and helps the pupil determine what careers are best suited for them.
The composite score and each section score range from 1 (low) to 36 (high). The Composite Score is the average of a candidate's four test scores, rounded to the nearest whole number. Scored out of a total of 36, a good score is considered that of 30 and above. The scores of the ACT exam are valid for a total duration of 5 years. Majority of the scores are available for online viewing within 2 weeks after each national or international test date. Score reports are generally released within 3 to 8 weeks after each test date. If you took the writing test, your score reports will be released only after all your scores are available, including writing, within 5 to 8 weeks after the test date.
All four-year universities in USA utilize the ACT to evaluate undergraduate application. Over 200 universities outside of the USA also accept the ACT.
As overseas education consultants, we advise our students that before the actual test day, they should undertake mock tests, which will enable them to familiarize themselves with the test. The trick to acing the examination is putting attention to the details. Often careless mistakes are overlooked by the candidates which result in issues. Read every question carefully and in the scenario of not being able to answer a particular question, it is best to move on. Since the test allows you to review your answers, you can always go back to problem questions. Our 100 hours of comprehensive and intensive ACT coaching ensures that students are provided with several mock tests so that they are prepared for their examinations. Our teaching pedagogy incorporates a strong focus on building fundamentals, guiding candidates with their approach towards different question types, helping students build reasoning with sufficient practice, to help them ace the ACT exam.
