The Farmingdale College Foundation, through the generosity of alumni, donors and friends, provides more than 175 scholarships to incoming freshman and transfer students. All applicants who have applied to Farmingdale and have a FAFSA on file will be considered for a scholarship award. The documentation provided with your SUNY or Common Application (transcripts, personal statement, and letters of recommendation) will be considered in the scholarship selection process; an additional scholarship application is not required.
Scholarships are based on many factors including financial need, academic merit, donor preferences and academic majors. Scholarships are awarded annually to eligible students for qualified educational expenses including tuition, fees and housing. Students who are already receiving full scholarship/grant funding for room, board, and tuition are not eligible.
Farmingdale College Foundation scholarships require students to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which will be verified by the Financial Aid office. All scholarship recipients must remain in good academic standing with Farmingdale State College.
